MIND in Furness members and volunteers joined forces with the National Trust carry out vital conservation work in the Lake's.

The Furness group were joined by Ulverston Mind staff and members as they headed to Castle Wray, Ambleside.

The group headed up in a mini bus to the site last Monday and were filmed by the National Trust to show the partnership work they do with local charities.

The groups worked on the adventure play area helping designate path areas digging trenches and laying down trees and branches to mark paths clearly.

Mind in Furness are the only Mind in the UK who work with the National Trust carrying out vital conservation work.
