Senior Mental Health Support Worker

As a Senior Mental Health Support Worker, you will work as part of the team to provide support and a range of interventions to individuals who have experienced episodes of poor mental health and members of the public accessing our new evening and weekend services.

In addition you will ensure each shift operates consistently to the required standards and will manage shift arrangements and ensure appropriate staff cover. You will support the team on duty and take the lead on risk management and safeguarding issues.

Provisional hours will be weekday evenings 16:30 to 22:30 and 12 noon to 17:00 at weekends. Hours may vary as the new service develops. Consideration will be given to full time or shared part time hours – to be discussed at interview.

The post is advertised for evening and weekend work and may be full or part time. The full time salary is £23,500 per annum, or £12.91 per hour.

Mental Health Support Worker

As a Mental Health Support Worker, your role will be to provide support and a range of interventions to individuals who have experienced episodes of poor mental health and members of the public accessing our new evening and weekend services.

You will participate in the operation and development of Mind in Furness’ extended opening hours through peer support activities and one to one support.

Provisional hours will be weekday evenings 16:30 to 22:30 and 12 noon to 17:00 at weekends. Hours may vary as the new service develops. Consideration will be given to full time or shared part time hours as well as bank/relief cover – to be discussed at interview.

The post is advertised for evening and weekend work and may be full or part time. The full time salary is £19,742 per annum, or £10.85 per hour.

Community Fundraiser & Engagement Officer

We are looking for a Community Fundraiser & Engagement Officer to join our expanding team. The main purpose of the role is to support two key goals of the organisation; growing our public profile and increasing the level of public donations we receive through fundraising activity, bequests and donors.

This post will involve some occasional evenings and weekend work due to the nature of the role, and flexibility across the week is required.

The post is advertised for part time hours of 28 per week. The full time salary is £21,936 per annum, £17,549 pro rata.
